I'm in the process of working towards a masters degree part time through the Open University - as part of the Computing for Commerce and Industry postgraduate program.

This can be approached in a number of different ways through various modules that allow focus on areas of particular interest to the student. In my case I started off with specific technology based modules (Java -M874 and relational database systems -M876) before moving onto more business based modules (E-commerce - M879 and Project Management - M865).

I have just started my last module, "Creativitiy, Innovation and Change", which also forms part of the MBA program. Completion of this module will allow me to achieve the Postgraduate Diploma in Computing for Commerce and Industry, after which I'll be able to put forward my request for an MSc. research project.
